Detailed Information     What to Expect We've all been there, first night nerves, wondering what to expect, do I have to join in? What if I don't like it? All these questions and more are valid before coming to a club like Manchester Fetish. What you can expect is a night in a very friendly secure venue with the kind of equipment you could only dream about at home (roll your mouse over the images on the main club page for an idea of what equipment is available). It is not an elitist club and there is no pressure to join in or do anything you are uncomfortable with. If you want to try a little gentle restraint or whipping then this is a perfect venue. We are a BDSM/Fetish players club, but do not insist on extreme flogging; many of our members like different aspects of play and each are different within their play. Some players who want to use some sensation play with light whipping and teasing rather than a heavy flogging. Saying that, if you do like heavy flogging then we have all the equipment you could wish for. The friendly Dungeon Monitors (DM's) are on hand to advise if required and the members are all friendly and helpful too. We are not a  swingers club either, we have a mixture of members that come with their own partner to play and also singles both male and female come alone to indulge in BDSM/Fetish play.  Some members get a thrill out of being watched in the soft play area or watching others play (note that 'play' encompasses restraint, whipping, teasing & full sex). Of course, being in such an environment next to attractive people can lead to some contact, but only if that is what you want and you are comfortable with it. If you wish to bring a sexual element into your BDSM play then feel free to do so. If you play in the soft area you may receive a tentative stroke on a non sexual part of your body; if you wish to encourage the contact then feel free to do so. If you only wish to play with your partner then gently removing the hand is enough. If you wish to invite someone else to join in your play then initiate contact with a gentle touch. Consent is the most important aspect of a Manchester Fetish event. You only get involved within your BDSM/Fetish play as much as you wish or want to do so, no more and no less. NO means NO, what ever you are doing and where ever you are or located! The DM's keep an eye on proceedings and are always available to assist and make sure you are comfortable at all times." On an average night you can expect between 40 - 50 people with a fairly even mix of sexes ranging in age from 20 - 50 (the average age is low to mid 30's). Everyone dresses in lingerie, rubber, TV, PVC, leather, glam or outrageous. People fetch their own alchohol and indulge in a little dutch courage before things hot up on the equipment and in the soft play area. The early part of the night is best for getting to meet new faces and enjoy conversation with like minded people. We encourage new members to arrive early (any time from 9pm is ideal) so they can watch people arriving and see how the night progresses. The whipping bench and torture chair are amongst the first pieces to be used, closely followed by the soft play area and the swing. A few of the newest members sometimes sit out and watch on their first visit to better understand how to approach other people or use the equipment but more often than not existing members will offer to show them the ropes. Rest assured, you are very welcome to come and watch if you are at all unsure about joining in. We have recently installed air conditioning in the two main play areas to maintain a warm comfortable temperature, perfect for nudity. Being a private member's club allows us to offer you a more liberated night than at other clubs. Nudity & sexual activity are allowed at Manchester Fetish (both are optional). On your first visit you will need to join. This entails filling in a membership form and paying your £10 membership fee and £10 annual entrance fee in to the club for the evening. We get very busy after 10pm so new members are advised to arrive early. If you will be travelling some distance and could be late it is adviseable to telephone 07530 249748 first so we can arrange to save a place open until 10.30pm for you.
